A victory for Manchester United today against Wigan will cut Chelsea's lead at the top of the table to just 2 points. United have picked up 13 points from their last 5 games at Old Trafford, while Wigan have lost three of their last 5 away from home.
For United, a back four consisting of regular defenders is now possible following the return of Wesley Brown and Nemanja Vidic, while Wigan have all their big players available for this game.
Considering Wigan's awful record against United, in which they have lost the last 10 games and conceded 30 - with Rooney scoring 8 of those, I think it will be another tough evening for the Latics and I expect United to come through 3-0.
