Game 27 Preview - Everton vs Manchester United (Feb 20, 2010)

Both Everton and Manchester United head into this game in great form, having won their respective European fixtures; Everton beating Sporting Lisbon 2-1 at home, while United owning A.C. Milan 3-2 at the San Siro in a historic win. In terms of the Premier League, Everton overcame Chelsea 2-1 at Goodison Park, while United were held to a draw at Villa Park last time out.

Everton are without influential midfielders Tim Cahill and Marouane Fellaini, but Steven Pienaar returns after suspension. For United, Nemanja Vidic should finally start and play for the first time this year, which is good news while Rio Ferdinand is unavailable with suspension. Also missing are wingers Ryan Giggs (fractured arm) and Nani (suspension).

I don't think that Everton can repeat what they did against leaders Chelsea last week. And United know that anything but a loss here would send them top of the table, albiet until Chelsea's 3pm Kick Off against Wolves. I tip United for a 2-1 win.
