Game 34 Preview - Blackburn Rovers vs Manchester United (Apr 11, 2010)

Blackburn have had a fantastic season as they lie in 11th place, level on points with 10th placed Stoke. The Rovers welcome Lancashire rivals Manchester United in a very vital game. Blackburn are on a 4-game unbeaten run and have only lost two league games at home all season. Meanwhile, United's season has gone downhill with defeats against Chelsea and Bayern Munich recently.

Blackburn captain Ryan Nelsen is a doubt for the game and Yildiray Basturk is out with a hamstring problem. However, Vince Grella and Keith Andrews return to the squad. United will be without Wayne Rooney who aggravated his ankle injury in the Champions League game against Bayern, and he could be replaced by Federico Macheda. John O'Shea could feature again having returned from a 5-month layoff.

Ewood Park is always a difficult place to go to and this fixture will be no exception. However, I believe that United will be able to bounce back and win 2-1.
