Man United got a fantastic result last weekend when they beat local rivals Man City at Old Trafford. United have now won their last four Premier League games. Stoke City, on the other hand, are lying in 10th place with 8 points from the 6 games so far this season. Both teams have momentum going into this game having won their respective Carling Cup fixtures in midweek.
Stoke are likely to be without James Beattie and Ricardo Fuller for this important fixture; something that United can surely capitalize on. United won the corresponding fixture 1-0 last term, but it was only after City had been reduced to 10 men.
I am going for a 2-1 victory to the visitors, and it would be no surprise if United need another late goal to get the three points here.
