Steve Bruce returns to Old Trafford with his Sunderland team sitting pretty in 8th place. Sunderland were phenomenal last week, scoring 5 goals against Wolves but this is now the real test for them. Darren Bent is the joint second highest scorer in the Premier League with 6 goals. This means that he has the potential to cause United some problems.
United are without Michael Owen who was injured during their Champions League match in midweek, but that won’t be an issue for United. There is no other major concern for the Champions at this point. I think that it will be a comfortable 2-0 win for them which will further cement their place at the top of the table.
